Rockwall defeated Royse City 2-0 on Saturday at Campbell Field. Pitching was strong for both teams. Rockwall and Royse City came up with only only two hits each.

It was Rockwall's hits that came at the right time to push across scores. Jordan Hammontree and Michael Hatcher had the hits for Rockwall.

Richard Parson started the game for Rockwall throwing three strong inning. Cody Fields came on in relief, pitching the 5th and 6th innings and recording the win. Travis Ballew pitched a scoreless 7th for the Yellowjackets and recorded the team's first save of the 2008 season.
