Coach Payne has provided a list of important dates for parents to remember during the 2009 baseball season:

Thursday, January 29, 2009 -  Meet the Coaches Night, 6 pm, Dobbs Library - parents and coaches only, no players need to be there, let parents know.

 

Friday, January 30, 2009 - after school workouts begin, RHS has an early release at noon on this day, all players report to Campbell at 1pm to wrap up our fundraiser, JV Orange and Varsity will then practice at Campbell at 3pm, JV White will practice at Utley at 3pm.

 

Saturday, January 31, 2009 - Picture Day with Sam Ballew at Campbell Field, individual photos for all players, team picture for the varsity only, Times-TBA

 

Monday, February 2 - Friday, February 6, 2009 - Practices

 

Friday, February 6, 2009 - Progress Report issued.  Failing players need to be passing all classes to regain eligibility for 6 weeks.

 

Saturday, February 7, 2009 - "100 inning game" - All teams will be at Campbell Field throughout the day, parents will sell spirit wear, food, etc.  JV White will intersquad the JV Orange from 10am-11:30 am.  Varsity will intersquad each other from noon - 1:30 pm.

 

Monday, February 9, 2009 - Scrimmages begin.

 

Monday, February 23, 2009 - Regular season begins.

 

Friday, March 27, 2009 - 3rd 9 Weeks Report Card is issued.  Baseball players need to be passing all classes here to remain eligible the rest of the way.

 

*** JV White will play/practice at Utley Field.  Parking is limited due to construction.  Plan accordingly.

 

*** JV Orange and Varsity will play/practice at Campbell Field.
